Students And Social Service Composition
Man has three duties,- duty towards Allah , duty towards parents and duty towards mankind. The students are the future citizens and architects of the nation. So they should play an important role in rendering services to the society in which they live in.
The primary duty of a student is to learn. But in these days study alone is not enough for a student. Other duties also await for him. Of these,the social service is one.
The students can do valuable social work without leaving their Studies. They can play an important role in removing illiteracy among the masses. They can utilize their vacation in giving basic education to the illiterate people. They can set up night schools in their villages.
Alarming growth of population is a threat to our national economy economy. Many people are unwilling to accept family planning. they are also superstitious. They have no knowledge about family planning. Students can tell the people to accept family planning and check population.
Ours is agricultural country. Our prosperity depends on agriculture. Our farmers are illiterate and they do not know how to use scientific method of cultivation. In these case the students can teach the illiterate farmers.
The students can help the distressed people in times of natural calamities. When cyclone or flood pass over the land destroy lives, men and women become homeless, students can stand by them. During epidemics they can go out in batches to distribute food, clothes and medicine.
Students can serve the people through social service. They can preach the idea of national unity and economic development. They are the soldiers of social peace. They should serve the society without any selfish motive.
