Our National Flag Composition
A national flag symbolizes the independence of a country. Every independent country possesses a separate national flag. We, the Bangladesh, have achieved out freedom after a bloody war in 1971. The name of out country is Bangladesh and we have owned a national flag which is very sacred to us.
Our national flag conveys a deep meaning. The green portion denotes freshness and liveliness. The red globe indicates rising that our nation is continuous and everlasting. We are proud to think that out nation and country are equal to any nation and country of the world.
Our national flag is rectangular in size. It may be of different size-small or big. But it must be 5:3 in proportion. When the flag is hoisted high it comes into sight as if, it were a red sun on a small field full of green crops.
Our national flag is not a flag only. It conveys a great significance. It represents our way of living and traits that we adopt.
So we should consider it a precious wealth. We ought to preserve its prestige. We should show respect to it.
Our national flag is holier, dearer and more precious to us than any other earthly possessions. We should be determined to defend it even at the cost of our lives.
