Traffic jam means blockade of vehicles on road and streets. Traffic jam is a problem of the urban areas. there are a number of reasons for traffic jam. Many unlicensed and unauthorized rickshaws Ply on the road and streets. even many car drivers, bus drivers and truck drivers do not obey traffic Rules. Sometimes they are seen parking their vehicles at any place of a road in an in disciplined Manner, which causes traffic jam. Again, some roads, lanes and by-lanes are very narrow.

The roads and streets are often dug for development work. This is also a reason for traffic jam. illegal parking unauthorized shops and markets on the roadside spaces also cause traffic jam. Traffic jam are regularly seen at the intersections of streets and railway level crossings. In our daily Activities we can not become fast and punctual because traffic jam kills our time. The patient going to hospital suffer on roads waiting for an unlimited period of time. School boys and girls cannot reach their schools in time.

The office going people become late to reach their office. Shops and markets should be removed From the roadsides. In some place of the cities, the government should build fly-over. I hope this problem will be solved in the near future as our government is taking all possible steps in this regard.

Traffic jam is a common affair in the big cites and towns. It is one of the major problems of modern Time. The causes of traffic jam are many. In proportion to our population roads have not increased. The roads are all the same. There are many unlicensed vehicles which should be brought under Control. the driver are not willing to obey the traffic rules. They want to at their sweet will. overtaking Tendency also causes traffic ham. The number of traffic police is insufficient. At office time traffic Jam Is intolerable. sometimes traffic jam is intolerable.

Sometimes Traffic Jam is so heavy that it blocks half a kilometer. It kills our valuable time and our works are hampered. It causes great sufferings to the ambulance carrying dying patients and the fire brigade vehicles. However, this problem can be solved by adopting some measures. Well planned spacious roads should be constructed. One way movement of vehicles should be introduced. Traffic rules should be impost strictly so that the drivers are bound to obey them. Sufficient traffic police should be posted on important points. Unlicensed vehicles should be removed. After doing all these things we can hope to have a good traffic system for our easy and comfortable movement.
